Oily Waste Cans for the safe storage and disposal of used cloths contminated with oil or other hazardous materials.

Oily Waste Cans are essential to safety store cloths that have become soaked with oil, solvents or other combustible material. These cloths present a serious fire risk when improperly discarded.

The specially designed lid opens to a maximum angle of 60 degrees. The lid also remains closed when not in use, which isolates cloths from ignition sources and limits oxygen to reduce the risk of fire.  In order for a flammable liquids fire to occur, three key elements must be present - fuel, oxygen and heat. Our cans are designed to remove one of the key elements for a fire so that the hazards associated with a potential flammable liquids fire may be more readily controlled.

The round construction and elevated base improve the circulation of air around the can, dispersing heat and reducing the build-up of moisture that may cause rust.

Each oily waste can  features a  galvanized steel body construction with a durable powder paint finish.

Our oily waste cans provide safe and temporary disposal of flammable soaked rags or wiping materials. The design guards against combustion with the cover closing automatically.
