Plastic Corrosive Substance Cabinets

Purpose built corrosive chemical storage cabinets are just one step in minimizing the risk of workplace injury. We supply a range of safety containers and flammable storage cabinets along with eyewash stations and products for chemical spills and chemical containment.

All plastic corrosive substance cabinets meet the Australian Standard AS3780 (Australian Standard AS 3780 - The Storage and Handling of Corrosive Substances).

Plastic corrosive storage cabinets are manufacturered from Polyethylene.

Common corrosive substances that should be safely stored in approved corrosive cabinets may include:

• Hydrochloric acid
• Sulphuric acid
• Nitric acid
• Sodium hydroxide
• Phenol, etc

Corrosive substance cabinets are also available in plastic. The plastic corrosive substance cabinets are ideal for highly corrosive chemicals which may be unsuitable for storage in traditional metal cabinets.Fabricated from solid 19mm corrosion resistant high density polyethylene (HDPE). Tested to AS1530.3-1989 and complies with BCA specification C1.10 for fire hazard properties. Chemical resistance tested by C.S.R.I.O.

Corrosive substance cabinets are manufactured to AS3780 and incorporate the following features:

• Self closing door with 150mm deep liquid tight sump.
• Sump capable of containing 25% of storage capacity.
• Corrosion resistant trays fit on shelves to minimise damage from drips or spills within the cabinet
