Purpose built chemical storage cabinets are just one step in minimizing the risk of workplace injury. We supply a range of safety containers and flammable storage cabinets along with eyewash stations and products for chemical spills and chemical containment. Always store flammable liquids, substances and materials in Australian Standards approved cabinets.
All cabinets flammable liquids storage are manufactured in Australia - to Australian Standard AS1940 - 2004: The storage and handling of flammable and combustible liquids.
Suitable for safe storage of:
- Petrol and petroleum derivatives
- Adhesives
- Printing inks and solvents
- Paints and solvents
- Any Class 3 Liquids
All cabinets comply with Australian Standard AS1940 – 2004 as follows:
- Each cabinet is marked with the name and address of the manufacturer
- The maximum storage capacity.
- A Class 3 dangerous goods label with sides of at least 250mm nominal
- A sign bearing the words “NO SMOKING, NO IGNITION SOURCES WITHIN 3M” in lettering at least 50mm high
Features and Benefits:
- Fabricated from 1.2mm zinc-coated steel with a double walled, re-enforced construction for strength and performance.
- Baked enamel paint (lead free) inside and outside to eliminate corrosion problems.
- All surfaces have overlapping lips to prevent ingress of heat.
- Ventilation duct with built in flame arrestors.
- Round corners on doors help eliminate cuts.
- Continuous piano hinges ensure smooth operation of self closing and latching doors.
- Self-closing doors with adjustable closure rate and sequentially closing to ensure they are always properly closed.
- Key lockable (92268) with three point latching facility for additional safety and security.
- Earthing point to guard against static electricity discharge.
